Long time....no post

Weekly update Feb 14, 2012:


Sloan has been busy GROWING. She is almost 11 months..its sad  my baby is growing up so quickly. She is starting to get pretty confident in standing up, and walking around with HELP, but the minutes she feels that her support is gone, she calmly sits down on her bum  She is in a loving stage where she will hug and pat me and drew on the back when she is tired. She has cut four top teeth and two bottom teeth, and has been doing better at night. I still am up with her about once a night, and sometimes twice, but its not like it used to be where she would end up screaming all night and nothing I did could comfort her. I haven’t written in a long time, but really need to start doing better. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving down in UT with GGma Cheaney. And Christmas Eve party at GGma Shawver, and then Christmas morning was at our house, and then we went to church with Grandma Shawver and KIA, and Nicole, Jake, Allision, Danielle, and TJ, Analisa, and Mercedes…Can’t remember if Brock and Sophia were there???.

Kari Jo had a baby Girl…KIMBRIE JO in Decemberr and we were able to go and see her in the hospital, Sloan was always trying to get to the baby when I was holding her, and was curious to see the new baby. SO CUTE!! Noelle was excited to see the baby out of Kari Jos BELLY 

Noelle is also growing up so fast. She is so cute right now she says “no notty words”, “no spittin” ..she has gotten in trouble a few times for some naughty words that she has picked up from somewhere (I might need to start watching myself a little closer). She is so helpful at times and really does lover her sister. While other times it is a constant fight to get her to do anything, like brush her hair, and brush her teeth. I have to remind myself that she is only 3. She is pretty good for the most part, and I need to remember that I love her so much, and she looks up to me and loves me. I can already see that she has a tender heart and tries so hard to make all of us happy. She is quick to tell me that she is sorry when she does something wrong, but she doesn’t fully understand what it means to be sorry. LOVE HER!! She is in the primary now and loves it. She is attached to Sister Wood, so hopefully we can get a good habit of going while she is still young. She hasn’t really said to much about missing the toys down in the nursery. 

SANTA brought me a treadmill and I LOVE IT<3 I have been trying ACTIVELY to use it. I have used it for a little over a month, and am excited to continue using it and LOSING THE WEIGHT!!!

My little Brother was in an accident at work…. Ryan is doing better and the first couple of days he was pretty down, but he is lucky so far to have what he has left of his right hand. He has had a surgery once to skin graft (to make sure it would take), and will have another surgery to skin graft this next week…this has been a very stressful and trying time. I love him so much and want him to be happy. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for all of us and we need understand HE has a plan and it always is not consistent with what we WANT…

Total Weight Loss:

I am cancelling the GYM membership (ok putting it on hold)..b/c of the treadmill at the house, and it is getting to be warm enough that I can exercise outside with the girls.

I have not lost the weight that I have wanted to lose, but I WILL MAKE the workouts (at HOME) a priority.

My new goal is to lose about 5 pounds by SLOANERS 1st Birthday…I have a little over a month to make this happen…. And this will put me at about the 145 range. My ending goal is to be down to 130+/- by June 30th.

Best Moment this week:

I love spending time with my family. On Saturday we went and watched the SR Girls in a play-in game to go to State. They won!! After that we spend time shopping and eating with Grandma and Grandpa Shawver and KIA  I love Drew’s family and how much they are willing to spend time with us. We are constantly with them, but that is what FAMILY is for. I wish we could spend more time with my Family, as a family…it seems like more often than not, it is just me and the girls that go out to my parents house, but I also feel like this with Drew’s parents
